HDFC SL UNIT LINKED PENSION MAXIMISER 2

It is a unit linked single premium pension plan proposed to provide you with an income after your retirement. It gives you the flexibility to boost your investment returns.

This plan provides you with the additional bonus of 5% of initial single premium at the age of vesting.

Features:

• The minimum term for this plan is of 10 years and maximum term is of 40 years.

• It gives you a choice to invest in any of the 7 funds depending on your risk bearing capacity.

• It gives you the flexibility to plan your retirement years accordingly by choosing your retirement date.

• The minimum single premium you will have to pay is only at the initial stage of this policy. The amount to be paid is Rs.50, 000.

• You can get access to your funds at the time of vesting or at the time of surrender or at the time of death.

• The minimum age limit for this plan is of 18 years and maximum is of 65 years.

• At the age of retirement the minimum age limit is of 50 years and maximum is of 75 years.

Benefits:

• Through the option of switching you can transfer your accumulated funds from one fund to another at anytime.
• You get tax benefits under section 80CCC of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

• On your retirement date you will get the value of the units in your policy. You can claim 1/3^rd of the fund value plus the additional bonuses as tax free and the rest amount will be converted into annuity.

• Your fund value will be paid to you with the additional bonus of 5% at the initial single premium chosen at the beginning.
• In the long term, the key to building great maturity values is a low Fund Management Charge (FMC). This plan has a low FMC of only 1.25% per annum (of the fund’s value).
