Introduction State Bank of Travancore offers personal loans in various categories such as loan against deposits, gold loans, loan against scrips and personal loan for various reasons such as housing loan, computer loan, etc. Against deposits loan there is cash key facility. No restrictions on withdrawals in a current account up to 85% of the deposit and interest earned. Then there are more features under this. Under gold loans the maximum amount of loan is 10 lacs and bank gives Rs.800 per gram of gold for all types of jewellary (including Hall marked jewellery) along with other features. Then there is mitra varsha loan given against shares and securities. Then personal loan can be taken for other purposes such as housing loan, computer loan, etc.
