ABN Amro Bank Make My Trip Go Card Review

ABN Amro Make My Trip Go Card is a co branded card designed for frequent flyers and for them who like holidaying- be it India or abroad. The card is designed exclusively to offer travel privileges and benefits. The card initially tries to lure customers by offering welcome gimmicks like saving on ticket purchase and discount vouchers redeemable only against bookings at makemytrip. The card is like any other co-branded cards offering majority of features and benefits on bookings done at makemytrip.com.
The card has an attractive Reward Points program giving users an opportunity to earn upto 30 Go Miles (Reward Points are referred as Go Miles in this program) on bookings done at makemytrip.com. For expenses elsewhere you earn three Go Miles for every Rs 100 spent. The Reward points can be redeemed only as Cashback which is unfortunately the only option for redemption. Also the value for each Reward point is not stated.
The card also offers Golf course access which again is a common feature among travel credit cards. The card apart from the conventional features and benefits has nothing new or exclusive to offer its customers. The card surprisingly does not have Airport lounge access for its users which is a severe setback in the card’s success.
The card when compared to other co branded travel card like Barclays Yatra Credit Card is at par. ABN Amro Make My Trip Go Card has no Joining or Annual fee which is similar to Barclays Yatra Credit Card. Also the interest rate offering of the card is at 3.5% which is competitive with regards to other card.
