ABN Amro Bank Platinum Gateway Credit Card Review

  • ABN Amro Platinum Gateway Credit Card is designed for those belonging to the elite section of the society. The card is designed keeping in mind the likes and dislikes of the aristocrats. However with this card luxury comes at a cost. The card has a Joining fee of Rs 5500 and an Annual fee of Rs 3000 making it one of the most expensive cards on offer. Obviously the card can be afforded only by a few.

The card keeping in mind its extremely high costing has tried to include most features and benefits a credit card could offer, yet there is room of improvement when the card is compared to other elegant cards like Kotak Mahindra Royale Signature Credit Card, HSBC Platinum Credit Card and Standard Chartered Platinum Elite Card. All these cards designed for the rich have features which justify their extremely high costing.

The card has features like concierge service, Priority pass offering which is common among these rich cards. Features like insurance worth a crore and Platinum temptations though are useful and exciting but not something which could distinguish the card from others.

The interest rate offering is one of the important factors with these cards due to the volume of transactions. Lower interest rate is advantageous for user in saving funds. ABN Amro Platinum Gateway Credit Card with an interest rate offering of 3.20% p.m. is the highest in comparison to the above mentioned cards.
