Axis Bank Easy Gold Credit Card is designed for shoppers looking for an inexpensive deal. The card though low on offerings with regards to discounts and benefits has few features which could come handy for a shopper. In simple words the card has one of the lowest interest rate of 1.95% p.m. on offer. This could actually save a bulk of your hard earned money when you are out there shopping.
The card offers fuel purchase benefits like fuel surcharge waiver of 2.5%. However one does not enjoy the privilege of earning Reward points on fuel purchase. As for the card Reward points program it offers 1 PlusPoint (Reward Points are referred as PlusPoints in this program) for every Rs.100 spent on Domestic Spends and 2 PlusPoints for every International Spend of Rs. 100.
The insurance cover with the card is impressive offering Personal Accident Cover along with credit shield. The card also provides coverage for lost card liability of upto Rs 1 lakh. Another impressive feature of the card is that it has zero replacement card charges.
Axis Bank Easy Gold Credit Card has no Joining fee but an annual fee of Rs 100 from second year onwards. This card when compared to cards like SBI’s Gold and More card or Silver and More card, lacks the punch with regards to shopping offers and benefits. Though the card scores heavily in the interest rate offering yet it has to come a long way to compete with other shopping cards.
