Axis Bank Easy Platinum Credit Card Review

Axis Bank Easy Platinum Credit Card is similar to Axis Bank’s other Platinum card offerings with regards to features and benefits on offer. The card offers fuel surcharge waiver of 2.5% across all petrol pumps in India but does not allow Rewards points earning on fuel purchase.

The card Reward points program offers 1 PlusPoint (Reward Points are referred as PlusPoints in this program) for every Rs.100 spent on Domestic Spends and 2 PlusPoints for every International Spend of Rs. 100. The card does offer discounts on purchases but only with few selected merchandise.

One of the major highlights of this card is the interest rate. The card offers one of the lowest interest rate of just 1.95% p.m. This card can actually save a bulk of your hard earned money when you are out there shopping. If only the card had offered few more shopping privileges it could have easily achieved ‘the most desired shopper’s card’ status.

The insurance cover with the card is impressive offering Air Accident Cover along with credit shield. The card also provides coverage for lost card liability upto Rs 3 lakh. Another impressive feature of the card is that it has zero replacement card charges.

Axis Bank Easy Platinum Credit Card has no Joining or Annual fee. The card when compared to other shopping cards like SBI’s Gold and More card or Silver and More card, the card scores heavily in both criteria i.e. fixed expense bracket like Joining fees, Annual fees and interest rate offering. However when compared to shopping benefits on offer SBI cards takes the lead.
