Axis Bank Platinum Advantage Credit Card Review

Axis Bank Platinum Advantage Credit Card is designed to offer Platinum privileges to its card members. The card promises a lot with regards to cash backs on movie tickets, dining, and other purchase discounts yet it somehow lacks the Platinum touch, offering benefits that are available in Silver and Gold edition credit cards of few other banks.
The card Reward points program offers 1 PlusPoint (Reward Points are referred as PlusPoints in this program) for every Rs.100 spent on Domestic Spends and 2 PlusPoints for every International Spend of Rs. 100. However there is a catch with the card’s Reward points program; since you enjoy 5% cash back on Dining at all restaurants, no reward points are earned on transactions at restaurants. Similar is the case with fuel purchase on your Axis Bank Platinum Advantage Credit Card. Thus the card gives very few opportunities to earn Reward points which can be redeemed against exciting Gifts, Merchandise, etc.
The insurance cover with the card is impressive offering Air Accident Cover along with credit shield. The card also provides coverage for lost card liability upto Rs 3 lakh. Another impressive feature of the card is that it has zero replacement card charges.
Axis Bank Platinum Advantage Credit Card comes with a Joining fee of Rs 1000 and Annual fee of Rs 500. This when compared to Platinum cards of banks like ICICI and Citibank is similar but competitive in case of banks like HSBC and RBS. The card has an interest rate offering of 2.95% p.m. which is extremely impressive considering it being a Platinum card.
Axis Bank Platinum Advantage Credit Card is yet to come a long way to be among the best Platinum credit card offering.

I dont think this card very useful because bank charging 1500(1000 as joining fees and 500 as Annual Fees) at starting. There is nothing so special about this card apart from 25% cash back in movie booking. Important ionformation about this, that one cant get more than 1500 cash back in movie booking or dinning / restourants . Maximum cash which customer can avail is 4500. This card is more useful for bank than customer.
