Axis Bank Silver Credit Card Review

Axis Bank Silver Credit Card is like any other Silver credit card offering. The card is primarily meant for shoppers to offer them discount and purchase benefits. The card has nothing special to offer to its card members. Axis bank credit cards have an USP of offering very low interest rate which is not the case with this credit card. The credit card has an interest rate offering of 3.25% p.m. which is more or less similar to other Silver credit card offerings.

As for the card Reward points program it offers 1 PlusPoint (Reward Points are referred as PlusPoints in this program) for every Rs.100 spent on Domestic Spends and 2 PlusPoints for every International Spend of Rs. 100. You can start redeeming your PlusPoints once you have accumulated a minimum of 500 PlusPoints though the card offers very few Reward redemption offers.

The insurance cover with this card is less impressive when compared to other Axis credit card offerings. The card does not offer Air accident cover or Personal accident cover which it offers with its other cards, though the card does offer Credit shield and coverage for lost card liability.  An impressive feature of the card is that it has zero replacement card charges.

The Card offers another impressive feature of an e-shop card. In this feature the credit card can be used as a virtual credit card for online shopping. The procedure is simple and safe revealing the least possible information of your credit card online.

Axis Bank Silver Credit Card has no Joining or Annual fee. The card when compared to other Silver credit card like SBI Silver and More card, is almost similar with regards to fixed expense bracket (Joining fee, Annual fee) and interest rate offering. However the card falls very much short of expectations with regards to discounts and benefits on offer.
