Barclays Yatra Credit Card is a co branded card designed for frequent flyers and for them who like holidaying- be it India or abroad. The card is designed exclusively to offer travel privileges and benefits. The card welcome’s its users by offering gimmick like Cashback on bookings at yatra.com. The card is like any other co-branded cards offering majority of features and benefits on bookings done at yatra.com.

The card has a very lame Reward Points program. The card allows its users to earn 2 Barclaycard points for every Rs 100 spent. This when compared to cards like ABN Amro Make My Trip Go Card which gives its users an opportunity to earn upto 30 Go Miles (Reward Points are referred as Go Miles in this program) on bookings done at makemytrip.com. For expenses elsewhere you earn 2 Barclaycard points for every Rs 100 spent. The Reward points can be redeemed against discounts on bookings made at yatra.com.

The card also offers travel concierge service for the convenience of its users. Surprisingly features like Golf course access which is common among travel cards are not offered by Barclays Yatra Credit Card. Also features like Airport lounge access, travel insurance for its users are missing with the card. Simply put lack of these features is a severe setback in the card’s success.

The card when compared to other co branded travel card like ABN Amro Make My Trip Go Card lacks several primary features. Barclays Yatra Credit Card has no Joining or Annual fee. The interest rate offering on the card is at 3.10% which is competitive with regards to other card.
