I have been approached by Standard Chartered for a credit card, They are offering me a “Manhattan Card”, but all I could find on their website was a “Manhattan Platinum Card”. Can you kindly clarify whether Stan Chart Bank “actually” has a Manhattan Card to offer or do they mean the Manhattan Platinum Card when they mention Manhattan Card?

Of course, I would clarify the details when I sign up, but just to be on the safer side, it’l be helpful to get all the info regarding the card and also any points/finer details that might need special attention from me prior to signing up.

    Thanks & Regards,
    Abhirup Chakrabarty

  6. For canceling your credit card, you need to first pay off all the outstanding balance. After doing that, contact your bank and intimate them by calling the customer care department. They would confirm a few personal & bank details before forwarding your request of cancellation. You can also mail your request at helpme@manhattan.co.in for the same.

Within few working days, you will get a call for the confirmation of the cancellation of your card. You can also ask the person to confirm in the the mail. It is advisable to cut your credit card using scissors and make sure that the magnetic strip is destroyed properly, even after cancellation.

Yes, you get 5% cashback on super market and department stores. It includes shops like Reliance Fresh, Brand Factory as well.
But, the minus is the there are very few options for redemptions.
