Axis Bank (formerly UTI Bank) is one of the ‘Big 3’ private sector banks in India alongwith ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank. It has a wide network of branches and locations especially in the metro cities of India.
Loan amount
The loan amount availability ranges from 1 lac to 20 lacs. The upper limit of 20 lacs is considerably higher than most other loans available in the market. This can be an advantage if you are looking for a higher loan amount.
Interest rate
The interest rate ranges for 14% to 21% depending on the profile of the borrower and the loan amount. The rate is fixed for the entire term of the loan. Borrowers with a good profile and credit history can get loans at 14% which is lower than what many competitors offer.
Charges
The processing fees are 2% of the loan amount which is as per market standards. There are no prepayment charges which are a big plus for borrowers looking to pay off the loan ahead of schedule.
Tenure
The loan tenure ranges from 1 year to 5 years which is more or less the industry standard.
